New Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Teaser Reveals Showcase Date

The developers of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf have reminded us of the existence of the title with a new video, which precedes the full presentation of the game. However, we will have to wait a long time for it.

Not all developers are waiting until The Game Awards 2023 gala (not just Rockstar Games) to make announcements. At least not with all announcements, as evidenced by a new video from the developers of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. You can watch the footage shared on social media below (via X/ Twitter).

Formally Thedas Calls is not just another purely artistic teaser. Admittedly, nothing of the gameplay as such was presented in it, but some of the scenes were supposed to be created on the game engine. At the same time it was stipulated that the project is still under development.

The video also reveals the names of the three lands of the title continent of Thedas, which will appear in the game in some form: Antiva, Rivain and Anderfels (which was enough to give fans food for speculation about returning characters; via Reddit). The footage also gives us a foretaste of the story, although don't count on any details.

Most importantly, however, BioWare has confirmed the date for the full announcement of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf to be the summer of 2024. So the game will apparently not appear on this year's The Game Awards ceremony.

The title can also already be added to wish lists on "favorite platforms." Steam, Epic Games Store and official stores PlayStation and Xbox. The game's cards also seem to reveal a little more about the story.

Perhaps this means that after the summer presentation we will not wait long for the release of the new installment of Dragon Age. For now, it is better to be patient.

He started with platformers, which he still dearly loves (including metroidvania), but he's also interested in card games (including 'analog'), brawlers, soulslike games and basically every other type of game. Don't ask about the graphics – after a few hours of exposition, he can be delighted with pixelated characters from games that remember the days of the Game Boy age (if not older).
