During the course of Booting Process, which is the prologue stage of Talos Principle 2, you will have to collect bricks to unlock next gates. On this page of our guide, you can find solutions to all puzzles appearing in this chapter.

All puzzles

The prologue of Talos Principle 2 consists of 12 separate puzzle sequences, in which you have to get Tetris bricks. If the text-based version of the walkthrough is not enough, in our video guide we show how to get all the Tetris bricks and open each of the 3 gates.

Within Reach

1. Place the first hexahedron on the platform and move on.
2. Jump on the second hexahedron and climb up.

1. Turn around and pick up the hexahedron.
2. Put it against the wall.
3. Jump on the hexahedron and jump to the brick.

Fencing

1. Approach the two hexahedrons at the other end of the room.
2. Pick up one of them and place it near the fence near the entrance to the room.

1. Jump onto the cube and pick up another hexahedron behind a low fence.
2. You can now create stairs by aligning 3 hexahedrons which should enable you to reach the brick.

Cubic Steps

1. Place the first hexahedron on the platform.
2. Pick up the hexahedron from the left side of the room.

1. Put the object on the brick that is lying by the wall.
2. Jump onto the hexahedron you've placed on the platform.
3. Then jump to the brick.

Puzzle with green Tetris blocks

Having gathered 3 green Tetris bricks you can now open the first gate.

Arrange the sigils according to the above picture.

Static Pressure

1. Pick up the fan and place it on the platform by the barrier.
2. Bring 2 hexahedrons to the Tetris brick.

1. Place the fan back to where it was originally.
2. Put the hexahedron on the fan.
3. Pick up the next cube.
4. Jump onto the hexahedron placed on the fan.
5. Drop the held hexahedron on the platform.
6. Turn around and jump to the brick.

Windy Day

1. Pick up the fan found neaer the rock.
2. Place the fan on the platform.

1. Jump onto the spinning fan which will take you up.
2. Pick up the hexahedron and come back down.

1. Remove the fan from the platform and place a hexahedron in its place.
2. Pick up the fan and climb back up.
3. Put the fan in its place and stand on it.
4. You can now reach the brick.

Single slit Experiment

1. Stand on the platform near the fan.
2. Approach the wall and activate the switch.

1. Go down and pick up the hexahedron.
2. Place the hexahedron in such a way so it blocks the laser beam.
3. You can now pick up the brick.

Versatile Contraption

1. Pick up the jammer.
2. Place it on the platform and point it towards the barrier as shown in the screenshot above.

1. Pick up the next jammer and point it towards the barrier.
2. Pick up the last jammer and point towards the fan so it deactivates.
3. You can now pick up the brick.

Puzzle with yellow Tetris blocks

After collecting all 4 yellow bricks, you can proceed through the next gate.

Arrange the bricks as shown in the screenshot above.

Fundamental Connections

1. Go to the end of the room and pick up the connector.

1. Circle the room.
2. Connect the connector with the blue button on the wall.
3. Return to the first connector and pick it up without breaking the connection.

1. Connect the two connectors as shown in the screenshot above.
2. Circle the room and pick up the brick.

Prismatic Diffraction

1. Pick up the connector without severing the connection.

1. Connect the connector with the one standing on the statue.
2. With all barriers deactivated, you can safely approach the brick.

Destructive Interference

1. Pick up one of the connectors.
2. Make a connection between the blue laser beam and the blue button by the barrier, behind which there is another connector.

1. Connect the second connector with the red laser beam and red button.
2. When the barrier disappears, pick up the third connector.

1. Use one connector to connect the red button.
2. Use two connectors to connect the blue button.

1. When the barrier is deactivated, pick up the block.

Two Colors Two Doors

1. Go through the opening by the laser beams and pick up the hexahedron.

1. Place the cube in the place shown in the picture above.

1. Connect the connector with blue laser beam.
2. Take the same connector and create a connection with the blue button and leave it on the hexahedron.
3. You can now pick up the brick.

Ascension Awaits

1. Pick up the cube and place it on the fan.
2. Then, pick up the connector.

1. Connect the red button and red laser above the switch.
2. Place the connector on the hexahedron.
3. Approach the wall and activate the switch.

1. The activated fan will raise the connector up.
2. You can now cross the barrier and pick up the brick.

Once you have 5 red bricks, you can open the final gate.
