Switcheroo often comes up as one of the most difficult puzzle sequences in Talos Principle 2. How to solve Switcheroo puzzle?
Switcheroo is the #8 Main Puzzle which you'll tackle in the Southern Coast region. At the beginning of the puzzle, you're provided with a teleport, hexahedron, and one connector.
The biggest problem here is the correct setup of the connector so the laser reaches the button next to the terminal. On this page of our guide, we show how to solve this sequence and unlock a rare The Hard Way trophy.
How to get The Hard Way trophy?
The Hard Way trophy is a reward for completing Switcheroo without using the "keep connections" option in the course of it. As a result, the key to success here is correct usage of the connector.
If you accidentally create a link to the red laser at the wrong time and have to leave the connector aside, you won't get the trophy. Fortunately, in this case, you can start the puzzle anew by loading the checkpoint. - Pick up the connector and put it on the platform.
- Pick up the hexahedron and put it down on the plaftorm next to the fan.
- Jump onto the fan and once the gust of wind takes you up in the air, use the teleport.
- Put down the teleport on the platform before the barrier.
- Pick up the hexahedron and put it on the platform with the teleport.
- Leave the teleport next to the fan.
- Pick up the hexahedron and step on the platform.
- Use the teleport and after the transition, leave the hexahedron aside.
- Pick up the connector and stand on the platform.
- Use the teleport.
- Put the connector aside.
- Put the hexahedron on the fan.
- Put the teleport on top of the hexahedron.
- Place the connector on the platform.
- Once the hexahedron is raised in the air, use the teleport.
- Pick up the teleport and jump towards the terminal.
- Put the teleporter down next to the red button.
- Jump down.
- Pick up the connector and use the terminal.
- Put the connector near the ledge.
- Pick up the teleport and jump down.
- Jump onto the hexahedron.
- While on top of the hexahedron, put the teleporter on the platform.
- With the hexahedron raised in the air, pick up the connector.
- Make a connection between the red laser and the red button.
- Put the connector on top of the hexahedron.
- Activate the terminal.
