All puzzles

The Desolate Island in The Talos Principle 2 consists of:

1. 8 main puzzles
2. 2 lost puzzles

Our video guide will help you step by step solve all the main puzzles and lost puzzles in the Desolate Island location. The gold puzzle will be unlocked after solving all the puzzles in the game.

Mind Body Dualism

1. After finding yourself in the room, turn left.

1. There is a robot behind the bars.
2. Press the appropriate button (it will appear on the screen) to take control of the robot.
3. Climb out of the room via the ladder.

1. Stand on the platform.
2. Take control of the previous robot.

1. Stand on the next platform.
2. Take control of the robot again.

1. Step on the last platform .
2. Take control of the previous robot.
3. Activate the terminal.

Leg Up

1. Raise the portable platform.
2. Leave on the platform in front of the barrier and a robot found behind it.
3. Stand on the second platform.
4. Take control of the robot.

1. Pick up the portable platform.
2. Step on the platform near the fan.
3. Return to your character.

1. Stand on the fan.
2. Jump onto the portable platform held by the robot .
3. Take control of the robot.

1. Approach the wall.
2. Return to your character.
3. Pick up the portable platform and place it on the platform.
4. Activate the terminal.

Dual Stream

1. Pick up the portable platform.
2. Take control of the robot.

1. Pick up the connector.
2. Connect two red buttons and the red laser beam.
3. Jump onto one of the fans.

1. Take control of the robot.
2. Approach the robot hovering in the air above the fan.
3. Take control of the robot again.
4. Leave the connector on the platform held by the robot.
5. Jump down.

1. Take over the robot holding the platform.
2. Jump on the fan on the right.
3. Wait until the first barrier is deactivated.
4. Take control of the robot.
5. Go through the unlocked barrier.

1. Take control of the previous robot.
2. Jump onto the fan on the left and wait for the second barrier to disappear.
3. Take control of the previous robot.
4. Activate the terminal.

High Ground

1. Carry the hexahedron and leave it at the wall on the right side of the room.
2. Pick up the platform and approach the hexahedron.
3. Take control of the second robot.

1. Jump onto the hexahedron.
2. Jump on the platform held by the robot.
3. Take control over this robot.
4. Jump onto the hexahedron.

1. Take control of the robot standing on the platform.
2. Raise the second platform.
3. Jump down and approach the wall opposite the puzzle entrance.

1. Take control of the third robot.
2. Pick up the hexahedron.
3. Leave the hexahedron at the wall opposite the puzzle entrance.

1. Jump onto the hexahedron.
2. Jump onto the platform held by the robot.
3. Take control of the robot you just jumped onto.

1. Jump onto the hexahedron.
2. Jump onto the platform held by another robot.
3. Take control of the robot below.
4. Jump onto the hexahedron.

1. Take control of the robot at the very top.
2. Jump to the terminal.

The Gift

1. Approach the wall opposite the entrance to the puzzle room.
2. Take control of the robot.
3. Jump down.

1. Stand on the platform.
2. Go back to your body and pick up the hexahedron.

1. Leave the hexahedron near the low fence.
2. Pick up the connector.
3. Connect the red laser beam and the red button on the opposite end of the room.
4. Place the connector on the hexahedron.
5. Stand on the fan.

1. Take control of the second robot.
2. Step onto the platform next to the fan.
3. Take control of the previous robot.
4. Jump to the higher floor and stand by the terminal.
5. Take control over the robot.

1. Pick up the hexahedron and leave it by the wall.
2. Pick up the connector, and with it, jump onto the hexahedron.

1. Take control of the second robot.
2. Swap the connector between robots.
3. Place the connnector on the platform.
4. Activate the terminal.

Two Body Problem

1. Pick up the drill.
2. Drill a hole in the wall on the right.

1. Take control of the robot.
2. Place the hexahedron on the platform.
3. Pick up the connector.
4. Put the connector aside.

1. Pick up the hexahedron and place it on the second platform.
2. Pick up the connector and connect the red laser beam and the red button.

1. Transfer the connector through the hole in the wall.
2. Take control of the previous robot.
3. Place the connector in the area shown in the screenshot above but don't break the connection.
4. Approach the hole in the wall.

1. Take control of the robot.
2. Stand on the platform.
3. Red laser should reach the red button.

1. Take control of the previous robot.
2. Pick up the second connector.
3. Leave it next to the first connector.
4. Pick up the first connector and break the connection.
5. Transfer the first connector through the hole in the wall.

1. Take control of the robot.
2. Pick up the connector and make a connection between the blue laser beam and the second connector.
3. Put the carried connector next to the barrier behind which there is the blue laser.
4. Take control of the previous robot.

1. Pick up the second connector but don't break the connection.
2. Make a connection to the blue button.
3. Transfer the connector through the hole in the wall.
4. Take control of the robot.

1. Pick up the connector without severing the connection.
2. Move the connector to the area shown in the screenshot above.
3. Step on the platform next to the second connector.
4. Take control of the previous robot.

1. The laser beam should pass through the hole and reach the blue button.
2. You can now activate the terminal.

Redshift

1. Pick up the portable platform.
2. Stand on the platform in front of the fan.

1. Take control of the robot.
2. Stand on the fan.
3. Jump to the platform held by the robot.

1. Get back to your body.
2. Stand by the wall with the connector.
3. With the second robot, pick up the connector.

1. Make connections between the red laser, red button, blue button, and blue laser.
2. Stand on the fan.
3. Take control of the robot carrying the portable platform.

1. Approach the fan and step on the platform.
2. Take control of the robot carrying the connector.
3. Place the connector on the portable platform.
4. Go through the unlocked barrier.

1. Take control of the robot carrying the platform and the connector.
2. Stand in the place shown in the screenshot above so the red laser connects with the red button.
3. Get back to your body.
4. Activate the terminal.

Drilling Party

1. Pick up the drill.
2. Climb the stairs.

1. Drill a hole in the wall on the left.

1. Look to the right.
2. Take control of the robot next to the red laser.

1. Stand on the platform.
2. Look through the hole in the wall.
3. Take control of the next robot.

1. Pick up the connector and connect red button and red laser visible through the hole.
2. Transfer the connector through the hole in the wall.
3. With the barrier down, proceed forward.

1. Pick up the connector and break the connection.
2. Place the connector on the platform.
3. Pick up the second connector.

1. Make a connection between the red laser and the red button between the barriers.
2. Put the second connector aside.

1. Pick up the first connector.
2. Place the first connector on the platform next to the red laser.

1. Stand on the first platform before the red button.
2. Take control of the second robot.

1. Pick up the second connector and without breaking the connection, place it on the second platform.

1. Approach the first connector and the red laser beam.
2. Take control of the robot next to the drill.

1. Make a hole in the wall so the red laser connects with the red button.
2. Take control of the previous robot.

1. Approach the terminal.
2. Take control of the robot standing on the platform.

1. Pick up the connector next to the red laser.
2. Place the connector by the wall that can be drilled.
3. Take control of the robot next to the drill.

1. Make a hole in the wall where you just left the connector.
2. Take control of the robot next to the terminal.
3. Transfer the connector through the created hole.
4. Place the connector on the platform before the terminal.

Passing Through

Lost Puzzle #1 can be approached between Main Puzzle #5 (The Gift) and Main Puzzle #6 (Two Body Problem).

1. There is a hexahedron behind one of the walls.
2. Leave it near the blue barrier.

1. Raise the portable platform.
2. Take control of the robot behind the bar.

1. Point the jammer to the barrier to deactivate it.
2. Pick up the hexahedron and leave it next to the jammer.
3. Take control of the previous robot.
4. Approach the jammer.

1. Take control of the robot.
2. Pick up the jammer and jump onto the hexahedron.
3. Point the jammer to the barrier and leave it on the platform held by the robot.

1. Take control of the robot with the jammer.
2. Approach the terminal.
3. Put the platform with the jammer aside.
4. Pick up the jammer and deactivate the barrier behind which there is the terminal.

Interplay

This Lost Puzzle can be approached after completing Main Puzzle #8 (Drilling Party).

1. Climb the ladder to get to the other side.
2. Pick up the connector and connect the red laser and the red button.
3. Leave the connector by the barrier.
4. Stand on the platform.
5. When the barrier next to the red button is deactivated, take control of the robot.

1. Climb the ladder to get back to the first room and pick up the hexahedron.
2. Take control of the previous robot and climb the ladder.
3. Stand on the platform in front of the fan.
4. Take control of the robot holding the hexahedron and stand on the fan.
5. Jump to the upper floor.

1. Go forward and then jump down.
2. Place the hexahedron on the fan.

1. Pick up the connector and break the connection.
2. Connect the red laser and the red button in the first room of the puzzle.

1. Place the connector on top of the hexahedron.
2. Stand on the platform.
3. Once the laser reaches the red button, take control of the previous robot.

1. Pick up the second connector and leave it in the middle of the main room.
2. Take control of the previous robot.

1. Pick up the first connector (on the hexahedron) and break the connection.
2. Make a connection with the blue button next to the terminal and stand in the middle.

1. Add the second connector to the link.
2. Put the first connector on the hexahedron.
3. Climb the ladder to get to the other side.

1. Pick up the second connector but don't break the connection.
2. Add the blue laser beam to the link.
3. Step on the fan while holding the connector.
4. Take control of the second robot.

1. Stand on the platform in front of the fan.
2. Take control of the previous robot.
3. Jump to the upper floor.

1. Leave the connector in the area shown in the picture above.
2. Take control of the robot standing on the platform.
3. Place yourself in the middle of the room and return to your body.
4. Go forward and jump to the other side.

1. Step on the platform which is next to the hexahedron.
2. The connector on top of the hexahedron should be raised up.
3. The laser should connect with the blue button next to the terminal.

1. Take control of the second robot.
2. Climb the ladder to get to the other side and activate the terminal.
