Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is an RPG set in a popular universe created by Games Workshop. It was developed by Owlcat Games, the authors of Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

Plot

In the game we play as a descendant of an ancient family of space merchants and explorers, who by order of the Emperor explore distant regions of the galaxy in order to expand the borders of the human empire. A special document granted by his monarch to the entire family allows him to carry out these tasks efficiently, giving him almost unlimited freedom of action.

During the campaign we travel by spaceship, joining encountered worlds to the merchant zone or robbing them of valuable resources. During our expeditions we encounter, among others, the forces of Chaos and numerous alien races.

Game mechanics

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is the first ever classic RPG using the license of the Warhammer brand. We take command over a team of heroes, develop their stats and complete tasks.

The key role during the game is played by tactical battles, played in turn-based system. Winning them requires a careful use of unique abilities of the characters.

An additional advantage is the extensive storyline of the campaign, which we shape to a large extent with our own decisions.

Game modes

The game offers only single player mode.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader features eye-pleasing 3D graphics that effectively recreate the atmosphere of this universe.
